Warning in Stone

“If you see me, then weep”

Imagine living hundreds of years ago, minding your own business, just out for a stroll along the riverbank.

Then, out of the corner of your eye you see that carved into the stone.

Water feeds your crops.

Water nourishes your family.

Water keeps you alive.

And now, the water is dwindling, or gone.

The river is drying up, and with it your hope of its quenching power.

Would your life change?

Or would you have already known in your heart the message, and have prepared ahead of time for it?

I’m not sure how I would have handled it, but am glad that I don’t live in those times.

For many water is a single turn of the tap away.

For others, that warning still sounds danger and death.

Not immediate death, but the promise of dead crops.

With no food, there is no survival.

And the dwarves of Seventh Hall are keenly aware of the same thing.

They came prepared for their task, with plenty of food to last into the winter.

But when disaster strikes, what are they going to do to keep from starving?

A word of warning:

This series is different from the Patmos Sea Fantasy adventure series.

So unless you enjoy tales of survival, building, and mining, you might want to pass.
